Kitty left the library and began walking towards the balcony. It was possible that someone else passing by wouldn't recognize her underneath the dramatic makeup change she performed on herself last night. She was wearing green glasses and her hair was dyed silver.

Why the drastic change in appearance? After yesterday's fiasco in the Muggle Studies class where she had accidentally turned an entire house against her, she didn't want to be easily recognized walking down the corridors. People would recognize her now only if they really stopped to look at her. Of course, the badge which she was obligated to wear would give her away if anyone noticed.

The former Goth hummed an old Muggle song to herself, digging her hands in her pockets as she walked.
