Adi grinned. Yay! Benny had loved his idea! Mission complete. Sure, they’d been together for a while as a couple but that didn’t mean that he had to stop being romantic and cease giving Benny surprises. Nah, that just wasn’t him. His dragon always deserved the best of everything. He happily and lightly swung their joined hands as he waited patiently for the boyfriend to make up his mind.
“Sounds good!’’ Adi would be fine with whatever Benny chose anyway. “I want to win lots of prizes!’’ Okay, so maybe his childish side- which he had never let go of- was showing a whole lot. But who cared? “Let’s try that hit the cans game.’’ Or whatever it was called. He pointed to the game closest to them where kids and adults were trying to knock over a stack of pop cans with a ball. “Bet I can get them all in one go!’’ Cue the tug on Benny’s hand for them to get going. |
