Another morning, another lesson. By now, Elle was used to heating charms being part of her getting ready habits, so she wasn’t quite as bad of as she imagined some of the younger students were as they all headed to their first lessons of the day. Even so, she still had her house scarf wrapped around her neck as she’d headed up to History of Magic, only half-hoping that Professor Newton had cocoa or tea or something hot to drink when she got there. However, as she’d entered the classroom, she wasn’t disappointed to find out that there wasn’t. She knew she’d survive. Especially since she could tell that the professor had cast charms over the classroom to warm it up like several of the others had in previous lessons. She was even able to unwind her scarf, although she kept it hanging around her neck just for safekeeping. And to keep it ready for when the lesson was over and she had to leave again.

“Good morning Professor Newton!,” she said with smile, selecting a candy cane-shaped cookie from the plate with a murmur of thanks before heading off to find a seat. It didn’t seem to be too difficult seeing as she was apparently one of the first to arrive, and she settled in once she’d arrived at a desk, getting comfortable and ready for the lesson to come.
