And time was up! "EVERYONE GATHER AROUND!" River waved to the congregated students nearby, and to those who just came from the slide. "I am quite impressed with what you've shown me today, and I hope that this activity has inspired you to be more active in the coming days ahead. Remember that your magic is useless if you don't have a healthy body." Roscoe and Bumi came to his side wagging their tails...obviously happy with the treats they got earlier. "Before we part for the day, I would like to give you a medal for your accomplishment, and a remembrance of some sort." the Healer then opened the box that was tucked under his arm, and gave everyone their prize. While he did so, he gave the students the occasional, 'well done', and a smile. "Alright, that's it for the day! I hope you all had fun as much as I did watching you. Oh, and don't forget to drink something warm," he said as he gestured towards the table, "also, it would be helpful to do another series of stretching once you get inside. It should cool down your muscles from all the running and climbing." With a final nod, he gave everyone a wave. "I'll see you around then. You are all dismissed." River tucked the box under his arm again, and moved back to the obstacles to dismount any and all of the mounds. SPOILER!!: Liv! Quote:

Liv was smart, sure, but she was most definitely no Ravenclaw. Not like her boyfriend, who was one of the smartest people she'd ever met. It was just.... Right now, the blonde didn't want anyone looking to her. That was what the Prefects were for. So... maybe she'd try to be less correct in the future. Just so no one got the idea that she should be listened to. Anyway.
There was also some dueling validation there. All throughout the previous term, the Gryffindor had been working hard at staying in shape and getting her body where it needed to be, not only for the club, but for ballet. Seriously, train in classical ballet for a few months. It'll be the most intense, strenuous workout experience of your entire life. Worth it, but intense. And it had paid off, given that she'd finished on top of her year in the club. So... Yeah, the Healer wasn't wrong about all that. He seemed like a smart man. Olivia suspected they would get to know one another pretty well over this term. Just a feeling.
Anyway, about this YETI challenge. It would boil down to motivation for her, as she tried to get her mind in the right place. Her body might be a touch weak, but it wasn't like she needed to rush too much, right? They were all working towards the same goal.... Liv just hoped these obstacles weren't too extreme. Just in case she got stuck somewhere and everyone else had already finished. That would be... Well, awful, honestly. Good thing she had her wand in her coat sleeve. And that this seemed to be a closed course. Helpful.
Moving at more of a jog (which was smarter to keep her breathing under controlled), she followed her classmates into the course, heading towards the giant snow stairs at her own pace (despite the animated Yeti). Hey, at least she was trying. Anyway, this was slower than the others, by minutes, but she didn't mind too much. It was better to do this one on her own, anyway... As Carlton had teamed up with Char. That was good... Her precious ickle would be safe...
Guh, but stairs. They were easily her least favorite workout. Sinking her left foot down into the snow mound, Liv made a face...before reangling her body into an upright position to adjust her balance. Moving the other foot forward, so began the process of hefting herself upwards and over, during which she'd paused several times to work out her balance. GAH, it was plain to see that the blonde was off her game today. And sluggish. Working herself that much harder, she decided to bring her hands into play, almost crawling her way up the mound, instead of walking... Sorry leg muscles... We have failed you today.
Pulling herself over the mass of snow, she breathed a sigh of relief! What in the world was wrong with her... To be quite frank, her head was starting to really swim and she thought for just a moment that she may be sick....
....No... NO... She was going to be sick. She was throwing up. Oh gosh. OH GOSH.
Box now safely tucked under his arm, River made another quick sweep of the course, and was delighted to see that he was quite successful with his first seminar. The grin on his face slowly faded however, when a lone figure caught his attention. Sensing that something wasn't right, the Healer immediately placed the box down on the ground, and ran towards the figure. He too made a quick sweeping motion with his wand to dismantle the snow Yeti that was about to attack her.
Panting, River held the young lady's shoulder and searched her face. "Miss...Phillips? What's wrong? What's the matter?" She...didn't look good. OOC: Class dismissed, everyone! Thanks for coming and participating! I will leave this thread open for another 6-12 hours so you can CATCH UP on your posts, or have your character leaving the circuit. ^^
