Still debating with himself, Kane decided to sit down and do his reading for Arithmancy while he was in a relatively quiet place. Those were hard to come by around here...and he had time to kill. After he read a chapter, THEN he'd decide if he wanted to visit her... Rooney had found himself at a wall in his studying today when he finally ran out of things to snack on. A trip to the Great Hall to see what was left over from lunch was definitely in order and so he was on his way down from the Ravenclaw Tower when his foot caught on a leg and up he went. Probably not much, but he was experiencing it in slow motion and so it felt like he went miles high. Of course, the fall down was much quicker and it was nothing more than a second before the Ravenclaw Prefect was face down in the hallway, groaning about how it had been his nose to break the fall.
And boy did it hurt.
