In fact she was at the top before there was much time to worry about the possibility.
Okay, that had been fun enough, but now it was time for the truely amazing bit!
Still a child at heart, Rosalyn rubbed her hands together excitedly as she looked down the snow slide. It took her back to the days when she was younger and used to go tobogganing with her brothers. Even though they had enjoyed bumping into her, it had been a lot of fun.
Eagerly she plopped down in her snow tube and took a firm grasp of the Christmas tree. Rosalyn was not going to lose it when she was so close to the finish line! Beaming, she pushed off down the slide. "WHEEEEEEEE!!"
Incoming!!
Hehe. Reaching the end, she climbed off of the snow tube. It was time for some tea while she watched the others finish up.
Was she out of breath? No way. She did feel a little warmer though given that the activity required her to move about so much. Now Kay was grabbing the mini Christmas tree and the snow tube. Without hesitating, she began trudging up, up and away. Okay, it was at this point that she began the pant a little but it wasn’t anything much. That was when she noticed one of the dogs-Bumi- running beside her. “Hello there, big fellow. Come to encourage me?’’ When the dog barked, she grinned. “I’ll take that as a yes. Thank you.’’ Bumi barked again and ran off towards a student.
Reaching the top of the mound, she fastened the tree. Kay then hopped onto the tube and pushed off. The cold wind felt like a stab to her face but she had to admit, it was somewhat refreshing! Down and down she went! This was so much fun! She had to remember to compliment River about this course. “That was wonderful!’’ the Muggle Studies professor told Rose who was at the end/ beginning of the course. Kay’s cheeks were flushed from the cold. “River’s ideas for this course was wonderful. Did you see when I fell face first in the snow, Rose?” It was a lot funny now that she thought of it. |
