Welp. That was an interesting way to land.
Matt chuckled and blinked, trying to see if Daisy was alright. The fact the girl emerged from the snow smiling brightly and asking if she could go again gave Matt the confidence to let out the LAAUGH he was holding back. She was good, it was all good, and bonus points: that had been hilarious to watch.
"Nice landing!" He told her. "I'm not sure you'll want to go again, though..." He added, gesturing to where all of the other kids were coming from. He wasn't sure it was him or what, but from where he stood it seemed like the mound was even getting smaller as everyone slid down from it.
MEH.
"DUH, let's go get it, then!"

WHY then wasn't she getting up? "Do you like the snow THAT much?" He asked, chuckling. "I can get you some, if you want. That way you can continue to snuggle in the cold." Sheesh kebabs, that didn't sound that good. But WELP, to each their own!
AND. He was off to get some hot chocolate. AND!!!! He was also back in no time, which was pretty easy as not many people seemed to have finished yet - CHAMPIOOOONNNNSSSSS or WHAT? BOOM! - with TWO hot chocolate cups. Ahem.
