Carlton leaned forward, curious but also feeling slightly uneasy. The fire thief wasn't entirely human? Spooky. He didn't like the fact that there was someone, or something walking around in the forbidden forest stealing fire seeds to use in potions. Sounded like some kind of evil master plan. Which meant him, papa Plant and all the centaurs were the good guys. He smiled and nodded at the professor. "Good. It feels good to have the centaurs there." Even though Carlton would never have the courage to talk to them or even look at them, he was very pleased they were guarding the caves.

"A flower! NO! A bush! No wait! A tree. I want a tree." There were so much to chose from! Flail. But Carlton wanted a tree. Or a flower. Or a bush. Holy cow it was hard to decide. "I don't want a plant that eats other plants." That was too morbid for his liking. "Is there such a thing as magical fruit, professor Myers? What does magical trees do, professor? Can magical trees grow magical fruit? I wondered what they would taste like... ALSO- Do you think plants understand what we tell them? Because I told the fire seeds they would be OK and they seemed to believe me, sir." And now he was talking about fire seeds again. Off topic. AGAIN.

"What's your favorite plant, professor? How do I choose what to have in the greenhouse?!" All the questions.
