Carlton leaned forward, eyes wide with excitement. "I can actually have something in the greenhouse?! OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY!" He was bouncing again. Now what would he pick? He didn't know anything about plants! He just wanted to know. "I understand, it is my responsibility entirely, got it, professor! Only... I don't know any plants." Pout. "I want a magical one! What magical plant can I have, professor?!" He was just all excitement now.
"I will remember that you want more drawings, professor." Carlton nodded, seriously. So fun! A fan.
Paul did not laugh at that even though he really wanted to. "
Well...I think the....thing that took them might not have been entirely human." Wellllllllll. He wasn't going to completely lie.
"Fire seeds are used in potions...very useful in certain ones, too," he nodded.
"Centaurs are good protectors of the forest. They want no harm to come to it," he spoke softly.
Did Carlton ever run out of energy? Paul enjoyed it, but WHEW. The boy must sleep well, mhmm. That accounted for how he had SOOOOO much of it all the time.
"I can help you pick one. Do you want...a flower, a bush...or a tree? A fern?" he grinned.
"There's a lot to choose from. And I Have an array of plants already, but I might not have what you want, and then I'd have to order it. Which isn't a problem at all! Just thought I'd let you know."
