Was it coming from the spinning object? And was it moving like a heart beat? Weird. She eyed it and cautiously tip-toed towards it with her wand at the ready.

She wanted to back away but something (whether it be or sheer Gryffindor dumb-luck or the portal itself) compelled her not to. Olivia had to find out what was on the other side. She continued to walk towards it until she walked through it accepting whatever fate lay ahead!
