"My sister does a pretty good job staying out of the tabloids," he said after a moment's thought. Though he had seen plenty about her in various publications. "There was a rumor about my dad in one once though. I think it caused some problems for him and my mum," he admitted quietly. He was sure it wasn't true, but even just the idea of it was rather unkind.

Henry wasn't completely sure what the game had been to begin with or exactly what Katy had wanted out of it, but it seemed important to her at the time. He didn't know what changed, though it was clear to him that he said something wrong. And he didn't want to feel any weird tension between the two of them, not when he considered her a good friend. So he simply smiled when she mentioned the cold. "Well, I did offer you my scarf," he chuckled. "But yeah, I think I've lost feeling in my toes. Do you want to go in and get some hot chocolate?" That was always the best on a cold day.
"My parents are in the tabloids a lot. They make up pretty rotten stuff about my family..." Katy tilted her head and pulled her cloak tighter around her. "I know that they're starting to watch my brother, and then it'll be me. Like... I don't want to screw up and embarrass my family, but it's worse when you know that it doesn't matter if you screw up or not. They'll just say what they want."

Not that he cared about all that. She flashed a smile to break the solemnity of the moment. He was already smiling again, so it wasn't hard to suppress any hugger-mugger feelings of angst and disappointment in favor of moving on. Cocoa sounded perfect, and she'd even allow herself a marshmallow. Her mother would never know. "You can't afford to lose a toe. I think cocoa sounds perfect."
