I mean yeah, wood would be good--" he nudged his head at Char's response "-- but there might be situations where using stone or metal might be more appropriate, for one thing those material will last longer than wood... or maybe you want a rune to conduct electricity or something, so a metal one would be better than wood?.... I dunno." Runes looks so cool but it does seem to be so complicated.
