Gaston was towards the back, and Rosalyn smiled as she made her way over to him. "Hi," she said before giving him a kiss. He was holding something behind his back and she knew that it was a surprise for her. Really he didn't need to do that, but she always really liked his presents!
Gaston hadn't been waiting long when Rose arrived. His heart skipped a beat as he saw her; she was even more beautiful than ever. Sometimes he still couldn't believe someone as wonderful as her could love a wreck like him! "Hi," he replied shyly before returning her kiss. "I got these for you." He pulled the bouquet out form behind his back and handed it to her. Roses for his Rose, just like always. He knew he probably didn't need to get her something every time they went on a date, but he couldn't help but shower her with gifts and affection.
He pulled Rose's chair out for her and took a seat beside her. It was only then that he got a good look at the decor in the shop. Everything was so sickeningly frilly! But this was where Rose wanted to come, and whatever Rose wanted she got. He looked over the menu for a minute. He'd already had lunch at The Three Broomsticks with his bandmates (and their new agent) so he wasn't all that hungry. He'd probably just get some coffee and maybe a teacake. "Do you know what you're getting?" he asked rose as he looked up from the menu. He was going to wait until after they'd eaten to tell her the big news; he had no idea how she'd take it and he didn't want to ruin her appetite.
