Okay good, she had been distracted too? Because Sam definitely had been distracted by this date as it had approached. A good kind of distracted, though. It wasn't often that his thoughts wandered during studying, but his brain had been having this tendency, even more so recently, where it would reroute to thoughts of the girl sitting opposite him when he ought to be only focusing on note-taking and well-researched essays.

Not to be alarmed, though - his grades weren't wavering.

He gave an amused grin when she established that it couldn't be a beauty contest. "No, no. I'd have no chance there. And no drawing competitions, either." At least with his blind contour drawing he had an excuse for his horrible artwork; if he had the freedom to draw normally, it'd be a lost cause altogether.

Anyway. Suggestions. To be honest, he hadn't thought of any, either. "Hmm... do you have any background in cooking?"
