He returned to his seat, and his smile turned into a grin as she mentioned that her only trouble was figuring out what to wear. He would divulge that part, but he conveniently forgot to mention how particular he was with his hair as well.
"So, did you come up with any ideas for our competition re-do?" Sam would do his best to not make a fool of him this next time.
"You just made me feel significantly better." About being late and about worrying so much about her outfit and
how was it that he could just be sitting across from her, talking like he always did, and her stomach was doing somersaults? She didn't understand it, but she had to admit that it was exciting! Or...food poisoning. That muffin she'd had for breakfast
had looked a little suspect...

"I was a little distracted what with you asking me on a date and all." Between that and classes, Junia hadn't had much time to focus on their next challenge, but perhaps they could come up with something together.
"It has to be something that we're both on the same level in. Like-well, no fencing. Also, no beauty contests because I'd obviously win." Her grin was immediate. Teasing, she was. Mostly teasing. Had she ever mentioned that she enjoyed teasing him?
"Have you got any suggestions?"
