There were quite a few tables that were full, what with it being Hogsmeade weekend for Hogwarts students, so he made his way to the small table at an impressive clip.
There. They had a table. A candlelit table, no less. Given the fact that he was feeling somewhat nervous, he busied himself with taking off his coat and setting it on the back of his chair. He lifted his hand to his head to feel at his hair. It felt like it was still in place, although it was rather windy so he'd have to hope for the best at this point. Blue eyes flickered to the door more than a few times.
As he sat awaiting her arrival, he realized that not only was this his first date with Junia... but it was his first date ever. Wow. Such a teenager now. Running late to your first date with someone wasn't good, huh? Only Junia had an excellent excuse because the
first skirt she'd wanted to wear had been claimed by Prince Charlie as a bed, she'd
misplaced the second, and the
third didn't match the top she'd originally intended to wear. That meant a new skirt, a new top, and
then finding shoes to match! To say it'd been a hectic morning was a biiiiiig understatement.
When she finally arrived, the third year was breathless from running down High Street and her
hat was practically falling off her head. Way to make a graceful entrance, she knew. Plucking the hat from her head, the brunette looked around and
that's when she spotted him.
"Sam!" ...That was kind of loud, oops! Her smile was sheepish as she moved closer, nervous excitement filling her up to the brim.
"What I meant to say was hello Sam, nice to see you. You look really handsome." And not so loudly this time, obviously.
Hi. Here. Ready for a proper date.
