He stood beside a table toward the back of the room, holding a bouquet of roses behind his back as he watched for Rosalyn to come in. He wasn't late, was he? That meeting with the bandmates had taken longer than he thought. He hoped he hadn't been so late that Rose thought he stood her up and left! Gaston was suddenly nervous and began to fidget a little, though his blue eyes remined locked on the door. How was he going to tell Rose about all this?! Generally Rosalyn found Puddifoots to be too sappy for her taste, but she was craving tea as well as nice desserts, so it was the first idea that had popped in her head when Gaston asked her where she wanted to have their date. He had some business to attend to first, but she was not in the least bit worried about him being late for this. Instead she was excited and curious to know what he had been up to.
Entering the tea shop, she was struck by just how girly it was. No matter because she could be a girly girl and wasn't in the least bit ashamed of that.
Gaston was towards the back, and Rosalyn smiled as she made her way over to him. "Hi," she said before giving him a kiss. He was holding something behind his back and she knew that it was a surprise for her. Really he didn't need to do that, but she always really liked his presents! |
