The Slytherin girl was just about to ask if Cameron wanted to play quidditch too, but someone had already beat her to it. "Oh, hi," Natalie said to the newcomer. She hadn't even seen the girl come into the room. She knew her, of course, since they shared a dorm room, but to be honest she couldn't remember her name. Natalie was bad at names, obviously. It was a miracle she had remembered Cameron's (eventually).

And Natalie had gotten the name right eventually so he wasn't going to comment.
Nodding he was about to add something else when they were joined by...someone new. Someone he'd SEEN around but hadn't really paid attention to so far. No offense. He was just really good at being ignorant of other people's existence occasionally. But he WAS trying to make an effort here. Friends were important to have after all. Especially seeing as he was here by himself. And all the people here he did know were waaaay older than him.
Or sort of older than him.
Two people at a time was a lot more effort though. Not that he minded per se. As long as they weren't being difficult. "Hi." He even gave the new girl a smile while running a hand through his hair. "She...did." How did she know? "She was a Prefect too, though!" He pointed to the display next to him again. BACK TO QUIDDITCH THOUGH! "I want to play! And in summer I'll hopefully be allowed to get my own broom too!" HE BETTER! He'd be old enough and everything.
"Do you like Quidditch?" Since they were on topic here.
Both of the others seemed a little taken aback by her appearance, but they weren't exactly outright hostile, so... no harm done right?
Being a prefect was distinctly more impressive than playing Quidditch, in Sinead's view; she perused the trophy with interest, wondering if she'd get her name on anything in here one day.
Well- she definitely would, if she could do anything to influence it. She was determined to take Hogwarts by storm.
"I... don't really care about it. My dad does a bit, and my stepbrother, but I prefer normal lessons to flying. I guess flying is useful to get around, though." Was that rude? She had no idea if that was rude. "It would be cool to be on the team, though. I hope you do well- it would be good if Slytherin won." That much, at least, she could get behind- house pride was always a strong consideration. "Oh- and I'm Sinead, by the way, I don't know if I remember your names so you might not remember mine." Fair was fair; most Slytherins weren't the sort to get upset about that kind of thing.
