As Zoryn dove down at his feet the boy tried to dodge her hands and fell backwards onto him bottom, landing on a few more leaves. he could hear their crunch under him. He was not going to enjoy picking at all the tiny remains of leaves stuck to his jacket.

He leaned up and still with his shocked look on his face and his glasses tilted slightly off the bridge of his nose. "H-how could I what?" What did he do? Why did Zoryn try to trip him up!?

D-Did he step on an animal!?

MERLIN PLEASE TELL HIM HE DIDN'T STEP ON AN ANIMAL!?
