"Are we having a sleepover?" Meaning that clearly they were, but could Abey be invited too?

Would it be very inappropriate to dramatically flop onto the mattress as well?

Abey was sure, but also actually he wasn't even considering the matter, and he had already done exactly that.

Zoryn heard the ‘oh’. And she heard someone approaching. And actually she heard a lot of things in the last three minutes that she had spent just laying on this mattress in the middle of the Gryffindor Common Room. Funny how much you hear things when you’re quiet. It was a lot harder to hear things when she was talking, which she normally was.

But anyways, the ‘oh’. She heard that. But she didn’t move until she heard the question. That’s when she opened her eyes and looked up with LOTS OF EXCITEMENT. A sleepover? Were they having one? Well technically no. But.. ”We TOTALLY should!!” she grinned. It was an INCREDIBLE idea!!! ‘Cause a lot of her friends were boys and they were in their own dorms which was sad, but if they had a sleepover THEY COULD ALL HANG OUT TOGETHER.

And then she went for a brief fly in the air as the ‘oh’ kid flopped onto the mattress too.

Which sent her in a fit of giggles.

”I wasn’t actually gonna sleep,” she started explaining, as if the boy had asked another question. ”I was gonna go mattress surfing, but then I got tired since I had to carry this thing all the way down from my room.” Which wasn’t a complete lie. It was only a partial one. She had pushed it down the stairs for the majority of the trip down, but it still took a lot of work.

Did he wanna mattress surf toooooo?

Because Zoryn would ask him, probably.
