Look at the kiddies working on the broom. It made Justin proud to see their progress as he continued watching witnessing a number even offer their help to those struggling. He grinned at some celebrating. "Good work everyone!" He clapped his hands for their attention. "Now we're going to take flight." Yep, time for the real stuff.
"First off you just swing your leg over the broom and keep a steady grip with your dominate hand over your hand on the handle. Like so." The Instructor demonstrated for them with his trusty broom. "Now first thing we'll be doing is taking off. Once you're fully mounted you are to face in the direction of the air before kicking off the ground with a single jump into a hover." Demonstrating again, Justin floated off in the air like a single feather before descending down.
"The most difficult part will be on keeping yourself in the air long enough. So right now we will concentrate on floating for a few seconds before tapping back down onto the ground." So for some tips, "Keep your mind fully focused on staying in the air, feel your broom as if they're a close friend and trust them. A bit of imagination helps as well." Where they anxious yet? "On my whistle, give it go. Three... two.."
