Hogwarts RPG Name:
Sinead Dance
First Year
Default Cameron and Natalie (last paragraph interaction)

Every time she got a break from homework- which, considering it was first year and they weren't being set all that much, really meant every time she gave herself a break from reading textbooks- Sinead took the opportunity to continue touring the castle. She'd made it her personal mission to explore every inch of every room by the end of the first term, and so far she seemed to have made pretty good progress. Some areas may have been more interesting than others, but she was finding that even the corridors often had little secrets to disclose- an interesting tapestry, maybe, or a plaque recounting some event which had occurred at that very spot.

The trophy room, however, really ought to be interesting for all the right reasons. The Dances weren't an old or prestigious wizarding family, but they were large enough- her great-grandfather, a muggle-born, had produced five children. Between all their descendants, Hogwarts had seen plenty of Dances in its time. Sinead knew a couple of her cousins were here, though she scarcely knew them. Her father wasn't big on family- a sentiment which extended to his daughter, at times.

When she entered, though, she wasn't expecting quite so many people to be in the trophy room already. She fell back for a moment outside the entrance, faltering- these walks were usually her time in solitude, to clear her head. But then, she was supposed to be meeting other students, wasn't she? With a slightly forced air, she rounded the corner and sidled into the room, glancing around at the other students present with a slight frown. Oh- but she knew Natalia, the Head Girl, and then two of the others were in her house and year, not that she knew them well. Actually, she shared a dorm with Natalie, but they still hadn't talked that much.

With a slight nod to Natalia in passing- got to be polite to the Head Girl- she approached the two Slytherins from her year, just hearing the boy- she couldn't remember his name- point out his mother on one of the trophies.
"Hello," she said quietly, eyes flickering between the two of them. "Your mother played Quidditch? Are you going to try for the team, next year?" She wasn't exactly hot on small talk- even she could feel that had been a bit of an awkward way to join the conversation, but there wasn't a whole lot she could do about it now. She'd said what she'd said.
