It was an empty space in which most would squirm in and that squirming was where you'd find out what kind of person you were looking at. It also helped in cases like this, for Aslan knew with certainty that if she answered simply and let the boys do the talking they would give her just the right leverage.

"I understand Clara's exception." Aslan stated, once again her dark eyes moving from cousin to cousin, inspecting them both in her usual way. "But neither of you are snogging Olivia Phillips, so why is she an exception to the rule?" She asked simply, ignoring the boys' echoes of pay up
