"How come you collect them? I know people who collect rocks and coins and comics and stuff, but not swords." That was a weird one. "Do you just like how they look?" 'Cause that's the only thing that sorta made sense to Zoryn. 'Cept that was still kinda weird. Especially since he wasn't planning on using them in battle, which by the way, was a very disappointing thing to hear. Aw man. She really wanted to help!!

....... She narrowed her eyes a little bit in response to his lame answer. "How come you won't tell me? Is it a secret?" Because he was hardcore avoiding the question. And the more he warned her against touching it... The more she WANTED to touch it. Ugh. It wasn't fair!!! He was testing all her self restraint, and Zoryn didn't have much of it!!

"I know," she replied confidently, still too curious about the box for her own good. Still she stood, with her hand outstretched and finger only centimeters away from the cursed object. From the outside, she looked like your normal run-of-the-mill-excited-first year, but on the inside HER BRAIN WAS HAVING AN EPIC BATTLE.

To touch? Or not to touch? That was the question.

She also had a REAL question. But that could wait.
"I like the history associated with them" Was she still going on about the swords. It is the same concept of what she was saying about coins and such. But well Viktor had money to spend on swords and they where pretty awesome. Not that he was going to tell this first year that. Could lead to more questions.

" You know something i have heard about what makes a good teacher. It's not not telling your students everything and letting them figure it out for themselves."

Sometimes unless they were total idiots. Also seeing her wanting to touch it but heeding his warning for now was putting a smile on his face. If he tells them everything how will they learn to arrive at the answer themselves. Or in this case. Why touching the dagger is a bad thing. Viktor shrugged. As long as she knew she could sit down he was fine.

"You know what i did before becoming a Professor, Zoryn?"

Might as well give her a hint.
