She nodded her head laughing softly when River admitted he had had trouble with the subject back in school. "Most find that they do have some trouble with it but once you know how to draw your focus in and be able to block out everything else but what you're aiming for it's not so bad." Surely River had figured it out as Transfiguration was used by Healers from time to time. Breaking off another piece of her snack and popping it into her mouth she took a few sips of her coffee to wash it down. "That's good. I hope nothing to serious comes your way." No one wanted to hear about very ill or injured children.

"Oh, not this guy. Everyone is always tested by him. Now that you've petted him once he'll expect pets from you all the time," Cami laughed softly. Her cat was much more like a curious toddler then a cat, always getting himself into mischief and making friends. "Well then if Roscoe and Bumi would like it then I really must get myself down the Hospital wing and meet them both." Bonsai could come along too. With any luck the three would get along and become friends. It could happen. The sneeze from someone didn't go unnoticed by the professor as well and she turned slightly to see where it had come from. "Bless you," she recited naturally as she saw the source of the sneeze was from Rosalyn who was sat at a nearby table. A warm smile was given to her and Gaston whom quickly joined her.

Taking a few more sips of her coffee she set it back down on the table. Those that were just entering the Bistro were given a smile in greeting. Her attention was drawn back onto River however as they were seated at the same table. "You attended Hogwarts for a short time, yes?" she believed they had attended at the same time but he was in the year below or something like that.

He reached into his jacket pocket for a handkerchief and gave it to Rose in case she needed to sneeze again. "So are you enjoying the food?" he asked, trying to change the subject. He smiled back at her, but that worried look never left his eyes. He knew this was probably nothing serious, but he didn't like seeing his Rose sick!

"Do you need anything else?" Like chicken soup, maybe? He didn't know what it was with colds and soup, but he remembered his mother always gave him some when he was sick. Surely he could get one of those sweet little house elves to make some chicken soup for Rose. Now if only he could find one that wasn't too busy... As his bright blue eyes searched the room for a house elf, he took off his jacket and draped it over Rose's shoulders as a makeshift blanket.

Gaston took his love's hand in both of his own and gave it a little kiss, just to show her that getting sick was the last thing on his mind right now, and he couldn't help but notice that she felt a little warmer than usual. Or maybe he was just imagining it... He held a hand to Rose's forehead like a parent checking a child's temperature. "Oh, Rose, you're burning up!" he exclaimed. "Maybe River should have a look at you."

Where was River anyway? He thought he saw him here a minute ago... Gaston's eyes scanned the room to find the healer seated at a table with Cami. He returned Cami's smile with a halfhearted one of his own as he gave River a look that said, 'Come over here, now!' It was nothing personal; he was just worried about his Rose!

"It's very magnifique," she said in a - probably - butchered attempt at French. That was how you said magnificent? In her state of mind she wasn't even sure... With a small smile she took a bite out of a madeleine. She had known it would be great before even tasting it, and of course she had been proven correct.

"Soup would be nice, but I am guessing you don't have any here." What had even been on the menu... Rosalyn was having a hard time recalling, though lost in her thoughts she did notice him putting his jacket over her. "Thank you. That's much better." She had been a little cold. Hopefully the jacket wouldn't make her too warm but that didn't really matter because it was just nice to have him looking after her. The kissing her while she was sick thing though... she wasn't sure about that even if she really liked it. Of course she had known he didn't care about if she got him sick, but STILL. "Well, if you get sick I'm looking after you." Well, her and River because he was the Healer, but yeah. The point remained, right?? She wasn't so sure...

Now he was feeling her head and it was apparently hot. "Oh dear. That's not very good." Stating the obvious, but she was sure that she was going to be fine. "It wouldn't be very nice to disturb River while he's eating with Cami." Waves were sent towards them.

First year Transfiguration was a nightmare, did Cami know? River had no trouble recalling those memories, given that his older brother, Ryden, was of no help whatsoever when he sent out owls for him. He was a rubbish big brother but he improved so much over the years. He had to grow up and mature anyway. “The challenge of the subject was my drive to be better at it. It was a good thing that I got through it...given that my vocation is to heal people.” It would have been really disastrous if he wasn’t good at the subject. Transfiguration proved itself to be very handy in emergency situations.

River kept a smile and nodded at appropriate times while Cami talked to him. He busied himself petting Bonsai...realizing how relaxing it was to be with a well-behaved cat. “Yes. I spent my first five years here in Hogwarts. I transferred out to Castelobruxo after my OWLs to continue my study there.” He said grinning at the memory. “My parents didn’t like the idea of course, but I sort of argued that it would help me greatly in certain subjects. Subjects that would put me in an advantageous position when I do my Pre-Healer studies.” It was a clever move to be honest, and his parents had no choice but to crack Gringgott’s and send him to Brazil.

The Healer obviously would’ve loved to spend the rest of the morning with Camilla but the sneeze, and the restlessness of Gaston and Rosalyn caught his eyes. A very quick assessment of Rosalyn was done from where he sat, and he knew that he was needed. The look Gaston gave him didn’t go unnoticed as well, prompting him that he was welcome to intervene. Camilla, you mentioned that you would like to meet Roscoe and Bumi, correct?” he asked as he placed Bonsai on the floor and procured his little squeeze bottle of disinfectant, “I think today is the perfect time to meet them.” He said gesturing his head towards his other colleagues across while he inconspicuously applied and rubbed his sanitizer in his hands. “I believe, duty calls. Rosalyn doesn’t look good.” He added smiling apologetically towards Camilla. “I had a lovely chat with you Camilla. I’ll see you around then,” he said rising from his seat, bowing down to look at Bonsai. “You too, Bonsai. It was nice to meet you.”

River took a few strides from their table to the other, and grinned at Gaston and Rosalyn. “A sneeze, a jacket over your shoulders...and perhaps loss of appetite?” he started as he tucked his hands in front of him looking down at Rosalyn, then to Gaston. “That could mean that your temperature is dropping from a suspected fever...and colds.” He said as he crouched and inspected Rosalyn’s eyes, “Your eyes probably feel heavy, soon it will be watery if we don’t treat it now.” He added as he straightened up and tucked his hands inside his trousers’ pockets. “No ifs or buts for you, Rosalyn. Gaston, if you could please escort her to the Hospital Wing’s Check In Area, yes?” River was sure that he didn’t need to tell Gaston things, so instead of waiting for his answer, the Healer excused himself as he went outside the door and made his way towards his wing to prep one of the beds for Rosalyn.
