Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Katja smiled, noddling slightly at Emily's reply. "Your daughter has fine tastes, Ms. Valentine," she said. Ah, yes, Scrivenshaft's. She'd visited the shop before, of course - she had to keep up with the latest wizarding products if she wanted to one-up her colleagues by having a bigger and better everything - but it had been quite some time. Diagon Alley was much closer to her home (and in her not-so-humble opinion had a better variety), but perhaps a trip to Hogsmeade was in order if it meant getting a quill like that... only, you know, in blue and magenta.
She'd been wondering if they were allowed to use magic on their airplanes, but she thought that might come across as an idiotic question and chose to keep silent. Better to be quiet than say the wrong thing and look foolish. It wasn't long before Regina voiced exactly what she was thinking, but she was a bit surprised by Mr. Delacroix's answer. So apparently they were having more than one round in this competition...
The blonde Danish witch's eyes momentarily strayed to the pizza, but there was no way she was going to be first to grab a piece. Being first to serve oneself in a situation like this made said person look like a glutton. She would wait for someone who didn't know that particular etiquette rule to go before her... In the meantime she busied herself by turning pieces of parchment into airplanes with her wand and comparing them to see which one looked the nicest.
She had finally settled on a plane and was trying to calculate how far she'd need to send it to win the round - she was a Westergaard, after all, and Westergaards won at all costs - when Mr. Taylor arrived. She'd picked up on the fact that he wasn't taking part in their little activity but chose to ignore the man. Not long after, someone from another department came in asking to speak with Mr. Delacroix. Katja pursed her magenta-stained lips but made no comment. Clearly this person had no concept of manners! She tried to refocus on what she was doing before the unwelcome intrusion. Now if she sent her airplane flying to a different floor, certainly that would be enough to win... but which floor should she send it to?
