The swamp was NOT a place for hanging out. The smell... Merlin. The smell was terrible. And occasionally, the goopy soupy mess made a burping sound as a bubble of gas escaped, where it exploded and send shivers of mud in all directions. No, Katy didn't want to stay here too long.
She did want those cat tails, though, and it was going to be a moment before seh figured out how to get there. She didn't want to get her shoes dirty or track that nasty mud back up the corridor with her, but it wasn't like she could fly.
