Grinning big at the girl beside her, Zoryn nodded in agreement. ”Best. Party. Ever.” She DEFINITELY agreed to that as she watched balloons fly through the air. ”And I’m Zoryn!!” she beamed. And truthfully, she probably wouldn’t remember the girl’s (Ashley) name in an hour. But they had all year for that, right?
Zoryn whipped her head around to look at the girl (Samantha) calling her ‘you’. ”Hey! My name isn’t ’YOU’!" It was Zoryn! Just saying. She shrugged at the accusation. ”It wasn’t mean, I was just wondering!” But now that she thought about it… Maybe her mom did mention not to ask a person’s age…… But she only said it once…. So it couldn’t be all that important, right?
And it looked like oldie (Professor Newton) didn’t mind. ”YOUNG?” Putting her hands on her hips, she gave him a very doubtful sort of expression. Did he know his hair was all gray? Should she tell him? ‘Cause Zoryn was eleven. And she was a grown up. So sixty three was ANCIENT. The man could go any minute now! Only a matter of time. Turning back to the ‘YOU’ girll (Samantha), Zoryn stuck out her tongue (very maturely, of course). ”SEE, he didn’t’ think I was mean!”
Just saying.
If anyone was mean, it was that boy (Matt))!! Zoryn had a plan, but she’d have to act fast!
But before she could do that… Looks like she got her (Ollie). Uhuuuum. ”Oops?” yeeesh, that’s gotta be rough. She gave her most innocent looking grin and shrugged. ”I was aiming for THAT guy,” she said pointing towards where Matt was standing only seconds ago. But before she could defend herself further… ”INCOMING!!!!!!!!!” She rolled and ducked and made it out of the way just in time, phew!
But of course by doing that, she landed right in the way of ANOTHER BALLOON!!! NOOOO!! It was the old man!!! AND SHE WAS NOW COVERED IN PINK! At least she looked good in pink? Man, once her mother found out about the state of her robes… Zoryn was as good as dead. Welp. Might as well have fun with it!!
And that’s when she ran to take cover behind one of her newest most favoritest Prefects (Noelle). ”GRYFFINDOR MOM, HELP ME!!!” She made a big dramatic show of running across the Common Room and ducking for cover behind her GryffinMom!! After a few relieving moments of shadow-shelter, she was back in the game. Well still behind Noelle, but she had a plan for the next move. ”Psssssst wanna we team up and get THAT guy?” She grinned mischievously pointing over to Matt.
Pretty please with a cherry on top? You won’t regret it! BEEAAAAAAAAM. If she said no, Zoryn would have to run to Tenacius. But he was farther away. So she just peaked out from behind Noelle's legs and gave him a tiny wave. So he knew that she didn't choose Noelle over him. Because she liked them both.
