As she approached the lake and saw the straw mats and stones placed around, Trixie had a good feeling that this was indeed going to be an interesting lessson. She spotted Ace and was about to head over to him but she realised that she was going to have to weave her way through a number of students and well she was not the most graceful of girls, she was likely to trip over someone.
So instead, Trixie decided on the mat closest to her. Only there was someone already sitting there. "Do you mind if I sit here?" She hoped that he didn't because she was going to sit there anyway.
"Oh," Jacob looked up in surprise. "Yeah, sure. Go ahead." The redhead girl looked like she was going to sit down no matter what he said, so he may as well be friendly.
He sat in silence for a few moments, looking at his hands in his lap and wondering if he should be talking to her or not. He glanced over at her. Had she sat there out of convenience or to try and make friends? Was he overthinking this
like he always did about everything?
"I'm Jacob," was what he settled on. Seemed safe enough. Open for a simple introduction or a conversation while waiting for class to start, either way. The ball was in her court.
