Well, why don't you just look at that? Miss Sarcasm herself was here, and she was even in the same house Brent was in. This could either be a really good thing, or a really bad thing. Brent hadn't quite figured that one out yet. "So we do," he said with a grin. "At least I know who to go to if I ever need to know where the line is." See there? Sarcasm. He had it, too. "And thanks for the welcome." He kind of felt like he was in the party house, which seemed really cool.



Brent had quietened down long enough to hear the stomach of the guy next to him let out a growl. "Duuuude. Me, too," he said. "I'm starving. So when's the food come out?" Oh, and he should probably introduce himself. "I'm Brent, by the way." Just in case he hadn't been around for the whole intro earlier.

Brent had started to glance away, but then the boy's next question caused him to pause in his tracks. "Yeah, man. Went there my first three years," he said. Was it that obvious? Was it his accent or something?



Hearing his name from a girl sitting nearby, Brent turned to come face to face with a blonde that looked to be about his age. "I'm from California," he answered, "and no. I was definitely not cheerful when I found out there was no Quodpot or Quidditch here." That was a very true statement, and it had definitely not turned out to be the silver lining he had been hoping for. He had to laugh at her Pepper-up line. "So are all the girls here this bold, or did I just happen to luck out on the first two I met?" Between this girl and Skylar, they were going to hang him out to dry if he didn't pick up his game.
