"Oh. Oh WOW." Hazel had just made her way through the wall between platforms 9 and 10, her dad close behind her. Surely Noah and Papa weren't far behind, but for the moment, the redhead could only stare in awe. Tiberius had told her about the platform, of course, but the reality of it was SO MUCH COOLER. Her gaze moved from person to person, taking in the crowd. Had she ever seen so many magic folk in one place???
She pushed her trolley further down, her people watching shifting from general to the more specific friend-hunting kind. She was going to get to see them all the time. Not just when their parents could get it together for them to visit.
The only thing that tempered her excitement was knowing how upset her brother would be. The frown flashed across her face as she turned back to look at the gateway and wait for him to come through.
"He'll be fine, Hazel." Tiberius rested a hand on Hazel's shoulder, having seen her expression shift. He, himself, was trying to keep it together. Sending her off was... it had come far too quickly.
