Between taking peeks at the treats she intended to purchase, Xavvie was sure to pay attention to the older girls to see if any of them decided to pay attention to her as well, some of them did, and Xavvie smiled sweetly at them in return.
She had the biggest smile for Nat, though. "Hi!" She beamed, proud to know the older girl. "I had a lovely summer. Did you?" It was then that she noticed the badge and gasped enthusiastically.
"You're Head Girl!" That was so NEAT. She knew the HEAD GIRL. Wow. What a role model. Her parents would be so proud! |
