The eleven year old rolled his eyes at the joking around between his Father and Daisy and let his Mother pull him into an embrace. He wrapped his arms around her middle and squeezed tight. He'd miss his mum the most... She was the most sane one of the family. Second to him, of course.

He did feel the pressure to follow in the family footsteps and get sorted into Slytherin, but he wasn't about to let that worry him now. "I'll send you an owl as soon as I get there, Mum." Maxton assured his mother. Orion was getting on a bit now, but he'd still be able to make the journey home from Hogwarts. "I can't wait to see the library." Yep, truly his mother's son.

Clifford meanwhile, thrust a hand into Daisy's bag and pulled out a fistful of goodies. Yummy. "You better not have stolen these from my stash, Missy." He joked as he pulled his daughter into a bear hug. He kissed the top of her head before pulling her towards Evangeline and Maxxie for a family GROUP HUG, d'aawww.

"You guys look out for one another. And don't do anything I wouldn't do." Maybe that wasn't the best advice he could give to his children... "Daisy, make sure you show Maxxie where the kitchens are." Now THAT was the best advice.
Despite the fact that she had been a Mother kind of late when compared to her peers, Evangeline had been a stepmum way, way earlier which, basically, meant one thing: most of her learning curve had been with Louis and all the mistakes she had made with him had shown her what she should really do. When Louis had first boarded the train to Hogwarts, Evangeline had been a crying mess and the boy had felt guilty. There had been none of them with Daisy and there would be none of them with Maxton either.

Despite the fact that, yes, she would be a crying mess once the train had left the station.

"You will love the library, my love." She whispered into her son's hair with a smile, arms wrapping tighter around him. "Don't listen to your sister's taunts. She loves you, really." She did. Sure, Daisy was rough with her brother but Evangeline did not forget all the times she had been called into the nursery because her daughter had pushed some kid who had been messing with her brother. "And dazzle those Hogwarts professors." Oh, here came the group hug. Lifting her head from her son's hair and smiling brightly at her husband and at her eldest daughter, Evangeline extended one arm in their direction. "Both of you! Be as brilliant as you can."

Yes, Mummy.Daisy replied, her voice slightly muffled from being squished into her Dad's arm. She laughed brightly at both her parents - they were silly, really - and ruffled her brother's hair with her free hand. "I'll look after him. And I'll introduce him to all the house elves so they know to give him extra food." She had made friends with most of them - some of them even remembered her Father so they made sure to always keep her well fed! "Tell Alex and Evie I love them and don't let them get bratty! Or touch my broomsticks, please!"Daisy missed Hogwarts, she really did, but she couldn't help but wish that the summer had been longer. Listening to the bustle of the platform, she snuggled closer to her Dad's shirt. Noooot yeettt.
