Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd The seventh year slytherin knew it was time to go back to school. He was quite excited to go back and see his friends and see his girlfriend. He didn't spend too much time with her this summer. Their schedules didn't match up but they did the best they could. Another thought he had was this will be the last time going through the platform. He could care less actually. This was usually a pain in the butt. He hated lugging his trunk and owl cage. His owl didn't particularly like the journey. What even made it a little embarrassing was his mother and sister wanted to join. His father was busy at the military camp. He promised he would send a letter eventually from base.
As Colt pushed his trunk, he suddenly had a great idea and made his sister Kaylee useful. He gave her the owl cage and said, "Here make yourself useful. Carry this.." he let go and Kaylee almost fell down from the weight. He laughed and walked on. His mother though didn't approve. "Colt Winchester you come back right now.." he scolded him. "You know this is heavy, let her push the trolley.." she moved Kaylee towards the trolley and took the cage and brought it back to him. He rolled his eyes and carried it. Whatever. She is a wimp anyways.
As they approached the barrier, he got his owl cage on top of his trunk and was gonna lug this himself, he turned towards his mother and sister. He saw his mother already have tears in her eyes. He rolled his eyes and muttered, "Come here.." he said and opened his arm for a hug. She hugged him tight and remarked on, "Look at my boy all grown up. I am so proud of you. You know that Colt?" she smiled wide and moved his hair out of his face. "I wish you would get a haircut." she rolled her eyes. "Well do good in school and make good choices.." she said giving her last piece of advice.
Colt turned to Kaylee and said, "Come here little rascal.." he knelt down and gave her a big bear hug. "Do good alright?" he ruffled her hair. "Hey hey don't touch the merchandise.." she scolded him and crossed her arms and stomped her foot. He laughed and kissed his mom on the cheek and turned to his trolley and ran through it for what would be for the last time.
It was bittersweet.
