Brian had told Professor Myers he wasn't sure if he could make it to the party, not because he was busy, but because the logistics were not in his favour. He did figure himself out, however, and floo over. He looked and felt ridiculous, in this garb, as opposed to his usual collared shirt and sweater-vest, but he didn't look overly horrible.
Which would suffice.
But for now, he'd just make a beeline for the food table and see if there was anyone he felt like talking to around.
