"House elves drop story seeds in my ears while I sleep and they expand by the time I'm awake," he fibbed with a straight face. He slipped his hands out of his pockets and leaned against the ledge as well.

How was studying going? Such an interesting question from Genny. He bobbed his head to the side, "Not bad. But I'm more interested in why you're up here on the rooftop looking all melancholy." After all, Genny really wasn't the greatest at small talk, and small talk bored Sam as it was.
