None of that was important though today. Today was a day for her family. A beautiful picnic was packed away in the basket that she was carrying, having let her Connor push the babies carriage today. The young blonde boy nodded his head in reply before taking off across the green grass up ahead in search of the perfect tree that would give off the best shade.
Addison laughed softly watching their son go. "I can't believe he's going to be eleven this September..." It was going to quickly for her now. The blonde cast a look at her husband her eyes shining brightly as she looked then at their infant daughter. They were a beautiful family anyone who saw them all together would think so.
It was a perfect day for a picnic. Connor and Addi had made sure to do nothing work related that day. Or at least he did since Addi was busy with baby Reagan these days. He was pushing the pram, his princess fast asleep in her little pink dress. He looked around as Koen went ahead to do as his mother suggested.
"He has grown up really fast,'' Connor agreed. "And he already knows what he wants.'' That was his son for you! Koen wanted to be involved with dragons. Connor was very supportive of this. He put an arm around Addi, one remaining on the pram. "Princess here will never grow up though.'' If only that were true! |
