Well, it looks like he didn’t like company for now given Professor Marchand’s response. He thought it was best to leave him alone, otherwise he would have asked him to stay and chat away. Jace was taken aback by the five points; he thought it was unnecessary. Kindness was something that he was willing to give without a reward. The Ravenclaw didn’t care about the additional sapphire points to be honest...he cared more about his teacher.
Jace suppressed a sigh, and instead, gave the man a polite bow and took a seat in front of him. The sound of the banging door gave him a slight jolt and brown eyes slowly looked up to the man. The additional lighting in the room showed just how awful he looked.
The Ravenclaw bit his lip and quietly procured his parchment and quill and raised his hand the moment the professor asked the first question. “The Cheering Charm, sensei. It was invented by Felix Summerbee in the 15th Century.” To be honest, Professor Marchand could use that spell.
