He gripped his wand a little tighter, but this time he held it at his side rather than in front of him, lest she should frighten an innocent person who just happened to be standing on the other side fo the door.

The charms professor opened the door and saw another student. "Hello, Miss Snow," he said, giving the Ravenclaw a warm smile. "Please come in. What can I do for you today?"
