And when the Gryffindor House Ghost felt unsettled, he needed a boost of courage from his lion cubs. Appearing head first up through the floor, Sir Nicholas appeared in the common room. It was a room he was very familiar with, and always felt at home here. He paced in a floating manner up and down, around, upside down through the common room, stuck in his thoughts. Charlotte, who had been sitting with a magazine and working her way through a quiz, looked up when she noticed the ghost. She brightened up and waved at him.
"Hello Sir Nick, How are you today?" Why was he floating all over the place? She tipped her head back over the arm of the sofa to follow his upside down progress. Humm.
