The first on-location photos for the upcoming BBC One and HBO series
The Cormoran Strike Mysteries, based off the first three novels written by
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling under her crime novelist pseudonym Robert Galbraith, were released online Monday.
The images depict actor Tom Burke as the British private detective Strike with actress Holliday Grainger, who portrays his assistant Robin Ellacott, standing on the streets of London this week. Those can be seen here.
The seven-part
The Cormoran Strike Mysteries series, based of
The Cuckoo's Calling,
The Silkworm, and
Career of Evil books, is rumored for broadcast on BBC One and HBO sometime in 2017.
