Ellie listened to everyone voice their thoughts and concerns, not quite sure what she could contribute. All of this was so different from life in American in the fashion world, she wasn't quite sure what to make of it, or what her place or role really was exactly. Yet. She figured it would be safest to stay quiet for now until she got her bearings.
She took sip after sip of her coffee as she waited for these bearings to be found. The new Minister made an appearance too - Ellie found the woman pleasantly matter-of-fact. She seemed to be on top of things. Ellie liked people who were on top of things.
She liked being on top of things too. Soon, she would be - or so she hoped, anyway.
