She wasn’t late. Even if anyone tried to say she was, Kendall wasn’t about to admit it. She also wasn’t one to make excuses, especially when it was rather obvious that she wasn’t quite as obsessed with fashion as some of the other women in the Ministry. Granted, as usual she’d had to basically escape from the twins, more accurately the younger set. She wasn’t about to blame them though, either. She just wasn’t late, and that was that.

Although she’d spent some time exploring the changes to level five once she’d gotten there. The plus side was that it was completely obvious that there were still people who hadn’t arrived yet. She could see that there were only a handful of people in the conference room. Points to the new head for making that change, and she’d tucked a bright pink strand of hair behind her ear as she’d finally headed for the entrance to the bubble. “Morning everyone!,” she greeted the group inside brightly, making a beeline for the coffee and choosing a donut for good measure before taking a seat near Claudette. Chocolate, of course. She wouldn’t have chosen anything else.
