Althea could think whatever it was that she wanted to think. But the truth was the truth. He had been the tone to put the idea in her head, so long ago, before their daughter had even been born. And yes, while she did work hard on her campaign, putting her team together and all that- NONE of it would have mattered had he not given her the idea.

"I won't hex you. I'll call security." She said, teasing, and yet he knew full well that she had made use of security in the past, when she'd been Department Head, and harassed by one of their former coworkers.

But really, it was nice that her husband believed in her that much, wasn't it? That he was so sure of her, and he'd never once tried to make her doubt herself. That was part of why she kept him around.

He was alright.
