At first she was tempted to tease Miffy a little bit longer before telling her the news, but holding it in was much too hard. Before she knew it she was blurting it all out, talking so fast her words almost tripped over each other. "I was walking by the Governor's Board Room when I heard voices coming from inside. I heard them talking so I got closer to listen. And guess what? They actually agreed with the Headmaster to let you and Peeves MARRY!"

Kitty paused for breath. "I think I'm the first student that knows, because I just came from the meeting. So then I came to find you." She awaited Miffy's response eagerly.
