Rula smiled, glad to hear a happier tone to Junia's voice now. This was one good thing about the passing of time - it felt a little bit easier to transition from sadness to happiness the more time passed since it happened. The pain seemed to lessen, or at least got easier to ignore or push to the back of your mind to focus on other things.

She tied the end of the newly-completed braid then giggled at her sister's next question. "He's great! We're great." And it still made her feel all warm and happy inside whenever someone mentioned him and called him her boyfriend. It was still really exciting, even after several months!

"I think Hassan would like him too! I haven't gotten to really talk to him about Max much though. Maybe I can get them to meet before the wedding!" She figured it would be preferable for Hassan to meet her boyfriend beforehand. Then he'd see how lovely and awesome Max was, so Hassan would have no reason not to let her bring Max as her date.

"Hoooow're you and Adrastos?" she added with a grin, nudging Junia lightly in the arm.
