"Believe I already have," he retorted with another bad joke. He had hopefully gotten those out of his system now. He could practically hear Nana's eyes rolling in her head from all the way across the oceans and land masses between them at present.

He did catch the not-so-subtle chatter between two other Ministry employees - sweet Amaterasu...what were they, fourteen and at the Yule Ball? - but paid them no heed and instead gave Olympia a bit of a twirl before pulling her back to him. "I'm off duty tonight. Consider it your one freebie," he chuckled.

The cheek of the man standing before her! Gosh. "Mmm, waiting, because we both know I'm so good at that." But as hurtful as it was that she had been forgotten, it was easy enough to move past that with Ryu, and his justification for his absence was interesting enough. "In a school? With kids?" Well that took... patience, and things. It was difficult to imagine him as a teacher, though she was sure the girls would have crushed on him - hard. They were only human, as was she, and his hand on her waist and against her back reminded her of that.

Somehow she didn't think her change in career was all that interesting, she was mistaken. Throwing her head back enough to send a ripple through her locks, Olympia laughed a little more freely than she intended to. "What gave you the impression that it was?" she questioned, raising a brow before shaking her head. Her spirit was still rather wild, thank you very much. "The Ministry's probably not ready for me, but I'm willing to try anything at least once, so we'll see how long it lasts."

Naturally, Ryu had a point even if he was a dag, one to which she didn't feel the need to reply to - content as she was in his arms at this point. In fact, she'd forgotten all about the mystery man (Logan) that she had been about to claim, until Ryu twirled her, affording her a glimpse of him before being drawn back in against him. "Lucky me, suppose I'll have five words to tell you at the end of the night if that's the case."
