Okay, so..... Olivia was still dancing around beneath her light drizzle, just minding her own business really. She'd heard that they were moving on in the lesson, tackling an activity concerning Weather in a Bottle.... BUT she just wasn't ready to reign it in and refocus. Not yet, anyway

Just a few more moments or mindless frolicking...

Okay.

NOW, she was ready!

Dispelling her rain with the counter jinx, Liv zeroed back in on Professor Gaston. So, they were to be doing what... exactly? From what she was understanding, they were just going to be making the weather bottles? Like actually activating them in a way? Kinda like with certain potions when you had to wait until the last moment to add that final ingredient to make it all work. LIKE POLYJUICE and people hair.

Hmm.

Moving towards the desk to collect a few of the bottles, the Gryffindor blonde sat herself down right on the rain soaked floor. Most of the working magic in the room had dissipated, but that obviously meant nothing for the water it had left behind. Not that Liv minded too much. She was still sporting her very fashionable rain coat and hat, courtesy of their kind professor. Kudos to YOU, Gaston.

Okay. So... Uncap the bottle, hold it with one hand, point the wand tip into the mouth, perform the spell, and then seal it back up immediately..... All the steps IN THAT ORDER. Could she do it? Well, obviously, Olivia believed in herself. So, even if it was a struggle at first, best believe all the effort would be made. WAS SHE READY?! Why, yes. NOW OR NEVER!

Carefully unscrewing the cap off of one of the small bottles, she balanced it in the palm of her hand, which was actually much easier said than done. Seriously. It was flipping hard, because her hand was shaking slightly. Focus, focus, FOCUS.... She thought she might one of each, because why not?

As for this one, though... "Solis Lucidem!"....... WHICH DID NOT WORK AT FIRST. LKSJDFKLJ, why could she NOT perform these blasted spells on the first go?! WHY NOT, I ASK YOU?! WHY?!

In fact, no success was achieved until about the fifth try... in which a shining beacon of light burst forth from her wand, aimed carefully into the awaiting bottle. Which, in retrospect, was the easy part, because... getting that small cap back onto the bottle's top in the short amount of time before the spell escaped... was actually a NIGHTMARE. Easier said than done, ONCE AGAIN.

Additionally, it took three attempts for her to actually get the lid back on the bottle in time. And with each failure, the magic escaped in a near explosion of color and light; threatening to run amuck in the small classroom. Luckily, it was just sunlight, and not rain, which was less stressful, if that made sense.

... But in her failures, she'd gotten more comfortable in things, and when it came to actually performing the second weather charm, her success came much more quickly. Uncapped bottle awaiting, the Gryffindor poised her wand, taking deep breaths and narrowing her eyes. It actually helped her to get a little sassy and mad at it. "Lluvia!"
