Her aim was a little off. No sooner had she spoken the word "Lluvia!" that a small puddle of water splashed against the sides of the bottle and dripped down into the desk and over her lap. "GAA!!" she exclaimed, dropping her wand. Good thing her raincoat came down to her knees.
It wasn't too embarrassing because nearby Hady had done something similar with hers. The problem, Kitty thought to herself, was that her wand wasn't as close to the bottle entrance as it should have been and her hand had shaken just a little when she uttered the spell. She took a pause to watch as Hady successfully performed the spell and then went on to the next one.
Kitty retrieved her wand from the floor and tried again. This time she was going to make certain she wouldn't miss. Instead of simply pointing it at the bottle entrance she would actually put the wand into the bottle - just a little, and then cast the spell.
"Lluvia!" she hissed, pulling her wand back out as soon as the spell left her lips. Based on how the bottle had suddenly heavier and the cackling sound coming within - she knew it worked, but she had to move quickly to seal the bottle. A few drops spilled out but then the bottle was sealed shut.
"Wicked!" The Goth beamed at her little storm in a bottle.
Tenacius started singing then, distracting her from her lovely little storm. "Did you invent that song? It sounds familiar." |
