Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent The angle thing was weird and Henry wasn't quite sure he got it right. The opening of the bottle had to be pointed away from him, pointed away from anyone else, yet still be accessible for him to point his wand inside. Maybe he was overthinking it, but it felt it to be a little awkward as he tried to hold it and he glanced around at those closest to him.
Most people seemed to be having an alright time with it so he just decided to go for it. Henry decided on the sun spell first, figuring with the cold weather, he might reach for that one before the rain, which would be pretty awesome in warmer weather. "Solis Lucidem!" He cast the spell and tried to grab the cap and twist in back on in time. He wasn't quite quick enough because it started seeping out just as he started to match the cap with the opening, soon pouring all the way out. And then there it was, all sunny in front of him. That was kind of a fail. Pointing his wand again, he commanded, "Meteolojinx Recanto!" Trying again.
Maybe he needed to try to hold the bottle and cap in one hand, since his wand was in the other, rather than try to pick up the cap from his desk after he cast the spell. Even though that would make holding the bottle even more awkward, Henry thought that might work. Shifting things around a bit, the fourth year cast Solis Lucidem into the bottle again, this time trying to make sure he was a little quicker with capping the bottle.
Yes! Sunshine in a bottle, woohoo! Victory fist pump! And now for a little rain. Oh, just fifteen minutes? Yeah, he'd better hurry.
